Get a Life.

www.implementingscrum.com -- Cartoon -- March 26, 2007

Welcome back to another day at www.implementingscrum.com.So, I planned this awesome blog entry for this week.

It will have to wait.

My three year old wanted me to read a story to him.

Now my six year old wants to read to me.

Priorities.

Lesson learned?

More tomorrow.

Unless of course my kid wants to read to me. OK? We have one chance in this life.

Live it.

Fully.

I will write more tomorrow.

Gotta run…

Please send comments, questions, criticisms, ideas, or whatever here.

You can also enter The Scrum Community to discuss this entry and other Scrum topics. Thank you!

[ANN] SD West: Follow-Up
Hi all,

Wanted to let you know what happened out in California on Thursday while I was at SD West (www.sdexpo.com).

I met with a few people and groups and we will have some exciting news in the near future about the site in general.

One of the immediate things I can talk about is the fact that this site will be syndicated on CM CrossRoads and The Agile Journal and you should see some press around that in the next week (see… being a subscriber via e-mail or RSS pays off for some of this great “inside information” (smile)).

I also facilitated a discussion with about 40 people in a round-table format during the conference. I think it was one of the best groups I have worked with to date, and if the guy that took pictures of the large post-it notes (that were created during the talk) sends them to me, I will post the information and make another announcement as to where you can talk yet another glimpse at some great information about Scrum in the Real World. I have submitted a proposal to present it again at SD East in Boston later this year — but with a twist. I will let you know if it gets accepted and what it can mean for you!

I hope you have a great weekend. I am about to hop on a plane for the red-eye back to the east coast. Fun stuff!

Thanks for reading, commenting, and continuing to read this blog and passing it on to your colleagues.

[ANN] SD West: Thursday, California
Hi all,

I will be facilitating a round-table discussion at SD West (www.sdexpo.com) on Thursday afternoon. It is entitled: “Scrum: A Five Letter Word Geeks to Need Learn.”

If you (or people from your organization) are headed to the conference, I encourage you to attend. The past few times I have organized the talk in this format there has been awesome participation and great information sharing!

Here is the link with the information:
