Hi all,
This is a blog entry I have been meaning to write for a while.
Earlier this year I met with Ken Schwaber at his house for an awesome discussion with other people too.
In the past (August 2002 – August 2006) Ken used to issue the Certified ScrumMaster certificates as a piece of paper directly from him.
How times have evolved.
Now, it is an agreement between you and the Scrum Alliance, a non-profit organization.
And.
It is electronic (via a PDF file).
One of the questions that came up while I was there was, “What happened to all the old original certificates?”
He took me down to his basement.
In a dark dark corner, underneath a sweat band was the pile of original agreements.
My question was answered.
I assume mine is somewhere near the bottom of that pile.
And some people say some things never change.
Just thought I’d share this incredibly useful information with you (smile).
Wow.
This is post #200 on the site. Not bad for just over 2 years of working together.
Thanks for reading!

This only happens once (more if you are using multiple computers). Once you are in the system, everything is good to go after that.

Funny story and interesting.
My certificate is on the outer wall of my cubicle at work, for all to see!
