I believe we should link and we could link scrum with people in the real world. Just like what the proponents of the traditional method are saying, scrum can become a way of life for ordinary people and may it will improve their lives, too.

I have read about a former Indian ambassador use project management dispensing her work. I believe the same can be true for scrum...

EMailing w/a friend, wife of an EU diplomat, I (ohhh so gently) edged into in-group/out-group dynamics (which, of course, entails "not invented here" as well as zero-sum game) and came up with a bit of a challenge.
*cue Dylan's "Times, they aaaaaaaaare a chaaaaa'aangin'" ... you know, the line about how if folk can't lend a hand then they should get outta the way? But frenz, folk who sided w/bullies in the schoolyard learned by reward that there's a living to be made obstructing innovation.)

"Hint: "A-list" and other top-down / in-group dyanmics dampen tensegrity and protension. You don't get out of the way cuz you're a'feared." - Tweeted 23:12MST 16DEC08

p.s. your comment preview plugin rocks totally.
