Interested in becoming a Certified ScrumMaster? Come to my next workshop!
Hi all.
Well, I finally had the idea to try and see if posting any information or videos on YouTube.com would help us spread the word more about Scrum.
So, tonight I had my almost-eight-year-old son (Dominic) and I record a very low-tech version of the cartoon using some audio files and the “original” Chicken an Pig cartoon. Right now, it is mainly a test.
My son and I are willing to post a version of the cartoons with commentary by myself and him on an ongoing basis.
Is this worth our time? My son loves doing this and I think this can add some very new perspectives on Scrum and all we do.
Thoughts?
I’d love to hear your feedback. Please spread the word.
Here is the link to the video:
Thank you!

This only happens once (more if you are using multiple computers). Once you are in the system, everything is good to go after that.

Nice to start fresh. Hearing a child comments makes the impression that scrum is very easy to understand. You could also use some hip tools to make scrumm propaganda, like twitter, or facebook

Great idea, although I would blow up the slide/cartoon big enough to fit the full frame. Awfully hard to read at that size (even though I know that one by heart…)
I’d boost the audio signal as well - normalize in the tool of your choice before overlaying the cartoon.
Could this be the start of animated Saturday morning show? (or for Comedy Central? Hmm.)

Hi all,
Thank you for the comments so far. They are all great and I will take the feedback as constructive where needed, as I know a lot of you do this stuff also and respect your opinions. This was “iteration one” and a first shot at seeing something actually *get done* instead of just sitting around and talking about it. My son (once he is feeling better) is looking forward to helping me create another one — and more. I expect them to evolve and get continuously better.
Thanks again and please keep the comments coming!
